are you meant to charge the battery when first you get the bike from direct bikes?
It’s best if you do charge the battery. Direct Bikes recommend charging it for 24 hours prior to use just with a 12 volt battery charger.
My scooter arrived from direct bikes the other day. It’s really great and heaps better than I thought it’d be. It goes faster than the website said . no complaints!
Hi,if anyone has bought a direct bikes scooter from moped.co.uk or scooter.co.uk could you tell me just how flat pack it comes,how much is there to put together as I have no idea on mechanics whatsoever.How many pieces and what pieces need to be assembles,any help would be gratefully received.

why are the direct bikes so cheap?
In my experience were great! it only took about 3 days to deliver. I ordered on a Monday night and had it delivered on Thursday. So, Direct Bikes are pretty on the ball! Still going well. No problems at all

direct bikes are made in China and imported over. they don’t have showrooms and brochures, so it cuts a lot of the costs out. they’re great bikes though. very reliable!

how much is insurance for a direct bikes moped?
Andrew, the direct bikes scooters come fully assembled secured to a pallet, so they don’t get damaged in transit.
The only thing you need to attach is the battery, wing mirrors and any accessories that came with it for free.
I’ve had my direct bikes scooter for about 2 years, no troubles whatsoever. Highly recommended!
direct bikes are easy to order, step by step registration instructions, not much assembly required (any reviews you’ve seen or heard are outdated!) really thrilled with it,.
Were happy with the pink ped I brought for my daughter from direct bikes. I’m thinking of getting one for my self, but not in pink!
